JM Glendinning was established 45 years ago as a local family-run insurance broker in Guiseley. Today, the group is a Top 75 UK insurance broker with a team of over 100 staff offering commercial and private insurance, financial and health and safety services from headquarters in Guiseley and offices in Sheffield, York, Newcastle and Scarborough.
 
The firm’s success is founded on finding the best people and building the business around them, which makes attracting and retaining staff critical to its growth strategy.
 
Our appointment in 2015 coincided with the firm’s plans to double in size over five years, and our brief remains to raise its regional profile to help the business attract staff and customers.

The campaign focuses on profiling key people and positioning the firm as a forward thinking, successful, growing business through a mix of awards, corporate news, profiles, comment and interview opportunities across traditional, online and social media.

The ongoing publicity activity also highlights JM Glendinning's corporate social responsibility and community initiatives, and we run email marketing campaigns and provide social media training and support for the team.

The results

The campaign has delivered extensive exposure for the business, profiling its continued growth and success. This in turn has resulted in award nominations, enquiries from prospective customers, as well as giving the management team the ear of their local MP. It has also helped the business attract a wider talent pool and enquiries from the calibre of staff they are looking for to help drive the business forward.
