The conference room at York marketing and communications company, The Partners Group, saw a different kind of consultation, when the staff were treated to a stress busting session in the hands of a holistic therapist.

Steve Halkyard from Tony and Guy in Leeds, gave neck, head and back massages to the members of staff, as well as reflexology, advice on healthy eating and how to sit correctly at their desks.

Said Steve, "The staff were all in good health, but like most professionals they will benefit from massage to relieve the stresses and strains of their working day. Correct posture and the opportunity to relieve tension will not only make them more comfortable but happier and more productive as well."

Since breaking his ankle earlier in the year, Managing director Hugh Venables has been receiving treatment from Steve. Said Hugh, "This time of year is always very busy for us, and as the staff are working very hard I thought it would be good for them to take some time out to relax and de-stress."
