York marketing communications consultancy, The Partners Group, has extended its reach into the North West with the relocation of one of its senior managers.

Account director, Karen Tinkler, has moved to live in the region and set up an office for the company near Stockport. Says Karen, "We were starting to develop contacts with several organisations in the North West prior to my moving over here; my relocation timed nicely with these new developments. I hope to create a presence and client base for the company in the region and I've made some good contacts and progress so far."

The Partners Group was established in York in 1984 and specialises in the provision of marketing communications and design services to a range of clients in the construction, property, food and professional services industries and the public sector.

The firm is also the sole UK representative of an international PR practitioners' consortium. International Public Relations Team (IPRTeam) is a global network of independent marketing communications consultancies established to meet the specific communications needs of SMEs seeking to enter new international markets.

IPR team partners currently operate across Europe, Australia and Africa using local knowledge of media systems, cultures and economic and political environments in 15 countries to develop and implement co-ordinated marketing communications programmes for small to medium sized clients.
