One of the UK's leading corporate clothing companies has appointed the York based Partners Group to handle its PR, design and marketing communications.

Prima was recently acquired by workwear specialists Alexandra plc and The Partners Group will promote the benefits of the move to major corporate customers across the UK as well as producing the company's full product range catalogue.

"There is a growing awareness that looking good at work has a positive impact on staff morale and on customer response. That's a message that we plan to get across to as many businesses as possible in the coming months," says The Partners Group managing director Hugh Venables.

The Prima business is just one of a number of major account wins for York's leading PR and marketing communications company, which has enjoyed a record year in 2004/5. Others include contracts with Business Link York and North Yorkshire, leading disability bathing specialists, Eurocare, and Helmsley-based Westway Country Furniture.

Partners is now in its 18th year of trading and is recruiting for additional PR specialists and support staff to strengthen the team.
