Commercial insurance broker, Capita Absence Management Services Ltd, was feeling quite fruity after seeing design proposals by York-based Partners Design for the Capita CARE brand corporate folder.

Darren Willis, senior designer at Partners Design, which is part of marketing communications company The Partners Group at The Mount in York said: "The brief was to design a corporate brochure using existing corporate colours that promoted the brand as a whole, as well as specific services.  So we designed a special folder with individual insert sheets for each service area.  We decided against using photographs of people in a healthcare environment; instead we developed a healthy fruit theme.”

Liz Jones, Capita Absence Management Services Ltd, marketing manager said:  "The fruit idea was really inspirational yet incorporated quite subtly into the design.  An insert was created for each area of our business - our work with domiciliary care providers and care homes for example - was allocated a different fruit and its associate colour.  We are delighted with the brochure - it has been designed to a high standard, on time and within budget."

Partners Design has since created a range of stationery, promotional literature, a calendar and advertisements for both Capita Care and the schools brand Capita Best.

The Partners Group was formed in 1988 and employs 18 people. It specialises in the provision of fully integrated marketing communications programmes and design services to organisations in a wide range of sectors.
