One of the north's top entrepreneurial events returns to York in February 2008 for its fifth successive year. And the York-based Partners Group has won the PR contract for the event.

Venturefest Yorkshire will be back at York Racecourse on 6 February 2008. The 2007 event attracted more than 2,000 delegates, and it's fast gaining a reputation as one of the north's premier business events.

Partners Group director, Karen Tinkler, who will head the Venturefest account, says the 2008 event is shaping up to be the best yet, with inspirational speakers lined up from the world of enterprise and content that is focused on meeting the real needs of the region's entrepreneurs.

"Anyone thinking about getting a business idea off the ground should put 6 February 2008 in the diary," she says. "The organisers are lining up an exciting, interactive event that will provide opportunities for thought-provoking discussion, networking, funding, business advice and support or just picking up tips on how to succeed as an entrepreneur."

The Partners Group is no stranger to Venturefest, having managed publicity for the event in its first three years. Venturefest Yorkshire project manager, Chris Wilson, says:
