york pr agency expands international support for local businesses

An international network led by a York PR agency has extended its reach in seven new countries across Asia, Europe and the USA.

IPR Team is a network of privately owned PR agencies in 19 countries.  It was established in 2002 to fill a gap in the market, providing overseas publicity support for small to medium sized businesses. 

York PR and design agency, The Partners Group, joined in 2003 and director Karen Nixon was voted president in 2007.  Since then, she has overseen the recruitment of seven new member agencies in France, Croatia, Italy, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea and Chicago: 

“As well as providing fast access to international markets through a single point of contact, the network offers clients a global, creative PR team whose members are in constant contact to share information about trends and best practice around the world,” says Karen.

“Clients work with a native speaker in their home country as well as an experienced PR consultant in their target country, who will use their expertise and local knowledge to deliver strategic and hands-on communications campaigns.”

The Partners Group was established in York twenty years ago and has been delivering straight talking publicity and design support to businesses in the city and beyond ever since.  The 16-strong team works across a range of industries including building and construction, professional services, healthcare, leisure and tourism and the public sector.
