top marks for the partners group

Yorkshire PR agency The Partners Group has achieved outstanding results in its Consultancy Management Standard assessment - the gold standard of service for the PR industry.

The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) employs an independent auditor to assess its members every two years.  The assessor praised the Partners team for its remarkable achievement in attaining a 95 per cent test result in eight business disciplines from leadership and financial systems to campaign management and people development.

The internationally recognised Consultancy Management Standard (CMS) is the industry’s quality certification system for public relations firms, and only about 140 of the UK’s 2,000+ PR consultancies have passed the rigorous independent audit required. It combines elements of ISO 9000 and Investors in People with criteria specific to the public relations industry.

Partners director Monica Green says: “For clients, the knowledge that we are adopting industry best practice across all management disciplines provides extra reassurance that they are in partnership with a company which is not only imaginative, creative and cost-effective in its output, but one which is also well-managed.”

The Partners Group is one of only eight companies in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire to have passed the independent audit that allows membership of the PRCA.

Francis Ingham, director-general PRCA says: “CMS is the global stamp of PR professionalism. Very few agencies meet its stringent requirements, so it is a mark of genuine excellence that Partners has been awarded this prestigious standard. It marks them out as one of the very best PR agencies.”

The Partners Group was formed in 1988 and employs 10 people. It specialises in the provision of fully integrated marketing communications programmes and design services to organisations in a wide range of sectors.
