Partners Leisure undertook a back-to-basics analysis of York Maze's market and produced a marketing strategy and communications plan. Using tactical promotions, advertising through local radio and a hard-hitting PR campaign, York Maze's visitor numbers more than doubled. We have now produced a TV advert for York Maze which has helped deliver another significant lift in visitors. Crich Tramway Village were looking for a fresh marketing approach to revitalise a static market. Partners Leisure produced a new TV advertisement and booked a cost effective regional campaign. The brand building campaign is supported with event specific targeted communications and promotions using local radio and press. Partners Leisure provides marketing consultancy, visitor surveys, advertising and public relations activity. The campaign resulted in a 40% increase in visitors over two years, and won the East Midlands Tourism 'marketing campaign of the year' award in 2006. |

| flying scotsman - ride the legend | ||
The National Railway Museum appointed Partners Leisure to handle the communications for the Flying Scotsman summer runs from York to Scarborough. A combined campaign using: PR, direct mail, print, and web marketing was developed to target families in the North, tourists in the region, as well as groups and corporate contacts. Partners Leisure was able to negotiate support from a number of rail operators for on-station leaflets and posters. The campaign resulted in a sell-out season with over 16,000 tickets sold. |

Working on behalf of York Tourism Bureau to manage the development of The York Pass, a visitor pass to the tourist attractions in and around York. Negotiations brought together over 30 attractions in a way that had never been achieved before. The launch event and PR was also managed by David Leon who continues to co-ordinate the bi-annual review of the 30+ participating attractions as well as retailers, restaurants and service providers. |
