Toasting the Yorkshire beer scene with Brewtown

This month saw the Partners Group organising, executing and celebrating the launch of Brewtown, a brand-new enterprise offering minibus tours of some of Yorkshire’s most unique breweries.

Brewtown Brewery Tours, which is based in York and launched earlier this month, gives beer lovers the chance to go behind the scenes of Yorkshire’s top craft breweries for guided tours and sample some of the best beer in the county.  Inspired by a love of craft ale and a desire to help put microbreweries in Yorkshire on the map, entrepreneur Mark Stredwick developed the idea for Brewtown having seen a similar business model work successfully in Australia, where he’s lived for the last 16 years.

Working alongside branding and design agency United by Design and web development company See Green, the Partners team rose to the challenge of co-ordinating the wide range of tasks involved in the launch. Elements of the launch process included establishing Brewtown’s communication styles and tone of voice; developing website copy and advising on SEO; building a strong, distinctive social media presence; managing a campaign of email communications to suit Brewtown’s diverse range of target audiences; and orchestrating a press launch for the business incorporating four days of brewery tours for the exclusive attendance of the media.

Mark said: “Partners have worked seamlessly with me to help develop the Brewtown brand and story and get the business ready for launch from a marketing perspective. The expertise and experience the team has in their industry, coupled with their local knowledge and network of contacts, has been invaluable.”

With Brewtown opening bookings just a fortnight ago the business launch is far from finished, but the initial stages of Brewtown’s launch campaign have yielded very positive results.  From Partners’ initial creation and setup of Brewtown’s social media accounts to their management over the launch period, the business’s online presence has steadily increased, building to a sharp peak immediately after the Brewtown website was declared open for business. Additionally, media coverage of the launch organised by Partners has generated significant coverage in the local and regional business and events media, leading to a marked increase in website traffic and user engagement.

Taking in a range of destinations within the York and Leeds area, Brewtown’s tours each include visits to three breweries and includes beer tastings, transport in the Brewtown minibus, snacks and water. Private charters and group bookings are also available daily. For more information or to book a place on a tour, visit www.brewtowntours.co.uk.
