Global conference calls on Yorkshire PR expertise

A director from York PR firm The Partners Group is preparing to take to the stage this week at a global conference.

Karen Tinkler will speak at the PRime Congress in Turin on Thursday about developing and running the global International Public Relations Team (IPRTeam) network, which she currently chairs.

She will share the stage with the managing and digital editor of influential Italian daily newspaper La Stampa, as well as experts from the Italian print and online communications industries and people from other sectors who have created, built and maintained successful networks.

The International Public Relations Team network was established in 2001 to support SMEs seeking international publicity support. The Partners Group has been instrumental in its growth and the network currently has over 20 members representing 24 countries across Europe, Asia, the USA and Africa.

The Partners Group is the sole UK representative, and is currently working alongside partners in Australia, India, Singapore and Germany to run an integrated campaign to publicise the annual Vivid Sydney cultural and creative arts festival.

The festival, which was recently ranked in the Guardian's top ten global ideas festivals, takes place across Sydney between 25 May and 11 June and comprises immersive light installations and projections, performances from international musicians as well as public talks and debates from some of the world’s leading creative thinkers. The event is expected to attract over 400,000 people.
