Team profiles

Karen Tinkler

Karen Tinkler

One of Partners’ two owners, Karen draws on 18 years’ experience to plan and provide strategic communications support for clients in professional services, food processing, business support, education and manufacturing industries, as well as communications activity surrounding mergers, acquisitions and buyouts, leading on new business generation within the business and delivering PR and marketing training.
Karen currently chairs the global International Public Relations Team PR network, through which she coordinates international campaigns, and is also part of the Brighter Future collaborative law marketing committee, established to raise awareness of the benefits of collaborative family law in the north of England. 
She also supports social entrepreneurs as a volunteer business mentor, and currently sits on the board of Otley-based social enterprise, Wild Goose Wellbeing. A keen writer, Karen loves nothing more than sitting down with a blank sheet of paper and crafting a story or campaign idea.
Hero: My grandma. She was strong, funny, always smiling and never let anything get her down for long.
Favourite places: Home, Cornwall, The Dales, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and anywhere warm & sunny.
Passions: Friends, family, walking in the Dales with our dog.

Monica Green

Monica Green

Having previously worked in-house for nursery goods manufacturer Mamas & Papas and for a leading London corporate and financial PR agency, Monica joined Partners in 2001. 
She is one of the two owners of the business and continues to work with clients in a wide range of sectors including property and construction, professional services, manufacturing, and hotel and leisure. She has worked with clients including Barratt Homes, Marriott Hotels, Nuffield Hospitals and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a regular commentator on BBC Radio York, an entertaining speaker at various business events, a member of the Women in Property Yorkshire & NE committee, a member of the York Design Awards committee, and also supports employee-volunteering charity York Cares.
Monica has a degree in English Language and Literature and a postgraduate diploma in Public Relations.

Robert Stebbings

Robert Stebbings

Account Director
Having graduated from the University of Gloucestershire, Robert embarked on a career in PR which has seen him gain notable experience and deliver campaigns with clients operating in the manufacturing, building and construction, professional services and leisure sectors.

Thriving on producing compelling and engaging copy for clients and nurturing relationships with online and offline media contacts and bloggers, Robert is well versed in communications and digital marketing best practice.

At Partners he is the lead contact for many of our clients and takes an active role in new business generation.
Favourite places: Airports, football stadiums, anywhere with a stunning view
Passions: Family, football, squash, cycling, walking, adrenalin sports and I love to travel and explore new places

Hannah Trinder

Hannah Trinder

Senior Account Manager
With fifteen years’ experience, Hannah works with clients in the legal and professional services, education, business support, tourism and housing sectors.
She’s the day-to-day contact for many of our clients, and provides creative input into on and offline campaign planning, implementation, management and evaluation.

Annis Cordy

Annis Cordy

Senior Account Executive
With a background in digital marketing and search engine optimisation, Annis works mainly with clients in the business-to-business, construction and professional services sectors.

At Partners Annis executes both digital and traditional PR activities, supporting the account managers and ensuring that campaigns are delivered effectively. Among other tasks, Annis writes media and website copy for clients, audits the websites and existing PR activity of clients and prospects, and assists with the creation of effective PR and content strategies across a range of niches.

Favourite food: Middle Eastern – I love anything spicy and fragrant
Relax by: reading, cooking and knitting. I’m an avid knitter and run a weekly knitting group – we meet in a pub in York city centre

Leanne Kirtley

Senior Account Executive
Having earned a Masters in Journalism and most recently worked as features editor for one of the UK’s oldest trade magazines, Leanne knows all about the importance of creating the kind of content that grabs readers’ attention. At Partners, she works as part of client account teams to research, write and place the kinds of news stories, technical and issues-led features and comment pieces that engage key audiences and shape industry opinions.
Hero: Terry Pratchett, I’ve read and loved all his books since I was a teenager.
Favourite places: I’m a sucker for a day out in Whitby and I also can’t wait for the day I go back to visit Hangzhou in China.
Passions: As a student I worked at Alton Towers, and have been a bit mad for theme parks ever since, especially around Halloween!

Anneliese Marshall

Anneliese Marshall

Team PA
As PA to the board of directors, Anneliese has a full and varied role. No two days are the same and it is much more than organising meetings and making tea! She works closely with the directors on a variety of client accounts - from major local developers to national charities - as well as supporting the fee earning team.

Nicola Neilson

Nicola Neilson

Nicola has been with Partners for more than 20 years and is most people’s first contact with the company. She juggles answering the phone with all kinds of other jobs including paying suppliers and chasing debtors in the nicest way possible.  She also makes great tea.

Office pup
Flo is the newest member of the Partners team. She joined us in February 2018 straight out of puppy school. She still has a lot to learn, but she’s very good at building relationships with clients and letting us know when there’s someone at the door. 
Passions: Chasing sticks and balls; paddling in streams
