Caught on camera

Video is a powerful marketing tool that helps enhance your website, launch new products or provide product demonstrations, and bring news releases to life, to name just a few applications.

Once you’ve invested in the production of the video footage, this one medium can be used in several ways to enhance your promotional activities.  The key to success is to be clear about the purpose of the video, plan it well with a good storyboard and script and maximise its distribution.

We’ve recently worked with Magnetic Buzz to create three very different videos:

1. Axing crime – Glass and glazing specialist Glassolutions has launched a high security glass designed to prevent smash and grab criminals gaining access to high value goods by smashing high street windows.  The visual impact of an attacker using an axe to try and gain access was caught on camera in controlled conditions. Marketing Director Mike Butterick said: “Video was the perfect way to capture the effectiveness of the glass – it also captures the drama of a potentially horrifying situation but presents a fantastic solution.  It’s a highly effective part of our sales and marketing package for this product.” Watch here:

2. Factory opening celebration – Bathing manufacturer Eurocare Showers marked its move to a new 20,000sq ft factory in Doncaster with an official opening and customer event that was captured on camera. It was issued as a video news release to trade and local media and is also now available to view on their website. Watch here:

3. Bringing your services to life – Here at Partners we’ve used the power of video to explain more about what we do.  Watch here:
