The brief

Based on our food industry experience and international PR capabilities, US firm NewlyWeds chose to work with us to handle the communications around their acquisition of UK-based food ingredients business Witwood Food Products. The brief was to ensure that the key stakeholders of both businesses recieved timely and relevant information about the acquisition, both directly and via industry media.

The campaign

The campaign involved working with the US-based comms team to write and co-ordinate the distribution of customer, staff and stakeholder announcements across four time zones, as well as liaising with the media in the four global markets to issue news about the buyout, deal with journalist enquiries and monitor media coverage.
